The 'Bike for the Buns' event is a fundraising bicycle ride along the scenic towpaths within Bull's Island State Park to benefit Safe Haven Rabbit Rescue, Inc. of Clinton, NJ.  Bull's Island Recreation Area comprises a portion of a small forested island surrounded by the Delaware River and the Delaware & Raritan Canal. 

Features of the Ride:

* Choice of two scenic routes!  Choose the 20 mile or 10 mile ride route, or ride shorter distances as desired.
* Souvenir event T-shirt for all pre-registered participants.
* Rest stops along towpath - for resting, snacking or just enjoying the views.
* Bike mechanics available for simple repairs if needed. 
* After ride picnic - Join us in the check-out picnic area - Rest, relax and enjoy!

Who you will be helping

Safe Haven Rabbit Rescue, Inc.  is a federally recognized, tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose main goals are to rescue abandoned, stray or abused domestic rabbits, care for their medical needs, socialize, spay/neuter and find permanent indoor homes for them with caring owners.  Safe Haven also works to educate the public about the unique qualities of rabbits, to educate rabbit owners and humane societies about their care.and to promote the awareness of rabbits as indoor companion pets.
