The 'Bike for the Buns' event is a noncompetitive, fundraising bicycle ride along the scenic towpaths within Bull's Island State Park to benefit the homeless rabbits at Safe Haven Rabbit Rescue, Inc., Clinton, NJ.  Bull's Island Recreation Area is comprised of a portion of a small forested island surrounded by the Delaware River and the Delaware & Raritan Canal near Stockton, NJ.  
   

Event includes:

  • Choice of 20, 10 mile or shorter scenic routes:

 
  • Souvenir event T-shirt for all riders registered by June 6.
  • Bike mechanics available for simple repairs.
  • Rest stops along towpath - resting, snack or just enjoy the view.
  • Picnic - after the ride, join us for a picnic - rest, relax and enjoy!
$27 per rider.*
Teams of 4 or more: $25 per person.*
*Higher fees apply after June 6 ($32 individual, $30 teams)
 
  Who you will be helping
  Safe Haven Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is a federally recognized, tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose main goals are to rescue abandoned, stray or abused domestic rabbits, care for their medical needs, socialize, spay/neuter and find permanent indoor homes for them with caring owners.  Safe Haven also works to educate the public about the unique qualities of rabbits, to educate rabbit owners and humane societies about their care.and to promote the awareness of rabbits as indoor companion pets.
